Relations between the basic attractive model of state structure and students’ life orientations

Abstract

The features of the following parameters of young students’ social consciousness as their choice of attractive basic model of social order and its coincidence with other life orientations were devoted as an actual problem in this article. There were shown the factors, which are complicate the young people choice of the state development way and contribute to the marginalization of once consciousness. The reliable information about a relevant changes in a Ukrainian students’ social consciousness structure deserves a special attention. It’s important, because the main responsibility for the further development of the country has been charged with the young people. The basis of the empirical part of our work was the development of methods of the research of students’ social order basic models (Soviet, peasant, aristocratic, entrepreneurial, professional, criminal, bureaucratic) and their essential characteristics (priority, attractive purpose of life, the dominant psychological mood, attitude to an innovations, faith, hope, quality, which is not encouraged). As a result, increase of the attractiveness of business model with a decrease of orientation on the Soviet and professional students models of social life were found. In order to the test how were identified tendencies of choosing its model coincided with motives which determined the relationships of students with the society was conducted a survey among respondents by the method of "Career Anchors». Then was found the "professional competence" as a lowest importance orientation, but the desire for autonomy and independence had the greatest significance. These results provided an opportunities to articulate some recommendations for the focusing on the identified trends in the work with a students.
